Farmer Outreach Program in Bangka Belitung

On February 21, 2022, Astra, in collaboration with Pepper Secret and the Bangka Belitung Provincial Agriculture and Plantation Office, organized a farmer outreach seminar focused on intercropping, citronella cultivation, and pepper farming.

The event brought together local farmers from across the region, providing them with practical knowledge on how to maximize the potential of their agricultural products. The seminar explored sustainable intercropping practices and highlighted opportunities to add value to crops such as citronella and pepper by processing them into higher-value products.

Through initiatives like this, we hope to equip farmers with new insights, encourage innovation at the farm level, and help create more sustainable sources of income for local communities.
